RANK DESCRIPTIONS:
The Chief| He is the male leader of the Tribe. His words are law, and they must always be followed. He rules with fairness, but also harshness. If you betray him or disrespect him once, he will not hesitate to demote you, kill you, or kick you out. He is always to be respected. It is his job to lead the warriors.
The Chieftess| She is the female leader of the Tribe. Her words are law, and they must always be followed. She rules with kindness and fairness, but don't think you can walk all over her. Not only can she stand up for herself, but if the chief finds out you might as well consider yourself dead. It is her job to lead the hunters.
The Heir| This is the first born son to the Chief and Chieftess. It is his birthright to be the heir in the Chief's eyes, however, if the first born son turns out to be not fit to lead the Tribe, a new heir will be chosen.
The Princes| These are all sons born to the Chief and Chieftess. They have no real power, but they must still be respected.
The Princesses| These are all daughters born to the Chief and Chieftess. They have no real power, but they must still be respected.
The Baron| This is the male that is second in command. Everyone must listen to and respect him, because he can kick them out and demote them. He is a very powerful cat, however, the Chief's word can override his at any time. If the Chief dies before an heir is named or before the heir is old enough to lead the Tribe, the Baron gets to become Chief. The Baroness is his mate. It is his job to lead the protectors.
The Baroness| The is the female that is second in command. Everyone must to and respect her, because she can kick them out and demote them. She is a very powerful cat, however, the Chieftess's word can override hers at any time. The Baron is her mate. It is her job to lead the hunters.
The Hunters| These are the cats that are fast and good at hunting. They answer mainly to the Baroness or the Chieftess.
The Warriors| These are the cats that are big, strong, and ruthless. They answer to the Chief.
The Protectors| These are the cats that are put in charge of keeping the royal families, and the Tribe lands safe. In wartime, they stay behind and protect the cats who are not fit to fight. They answer to the Baron.
The Elders| These are the cats in the Tribe that have lived the longest. They are highly respected, and often teach cubs about the history of the Tribe.
The Cubs| These are cats below the age of three. They don't really have to do much in the Tribe until they are two. When they are two, the other cats begin training them into the job that they are most fit for.
The Banished| These are the cats that have done something terrible to their Tribe, but are allowed to live. They are looked down on by everyone in the Tribe, and don't usually live long because of the beatings they receive.
The Traitors| These are just what the name suggests. They are the cats that jumped ship, or joined a different pride. They are to be killed on sight. |
